NextGen Healthcare Launch their NextGenCares Initiative Globally

Business Wire India | 26 Dec, 2017
NextGen Healthcare, a leading health information technology (HIT) company headquartered in Irvine, CA, USA, creates technology solutions to help medical practices nurture healthier communities. NextGen Healthcare solutions and services help practices transform to and succeed in value-based care and measurably improve patient outcomes and population health at lower costs.

Thayimane takes in children who are permanently left as orphans due to illness, lost their parents to death, or have suffered abuse. The resident mothers work to establish and operate a loving environment where the children can grow and mature. The 122 children living at Thayimane were appreciative of the contributions made by the NextGen Cares which included a donation of over $6,000.

Members of NextGen Healthcare's community service team, NextGen Cares, visited the Thayimane Children's Home where they handed out backpacks, assisted in the garden, painted and donated funds for a new playground, December 15.

"We journeyed to the Thayimane Children's Home, where an amazing group of people have rescued over a hundred kids off the streets. They've provided food, shelter, education, and sports for these kids and it's amazing," noted NextGen Healthcare's CEO, Rusty Frantz, who led the team.

Beyond the work around the facility, The NextGen Cares team was treated to a show put on by the children.

Keshava Murthy, Trustee and founder of Thayimane expressed his happiness on the contribution of NextGen towards playground equipment for the home and said now the children from Thayimane can practice and excel in the field of sports like basketball, volleyball, football and other sports.

"We're very appreciative of their team's commitment to making a difference and strongly believe in making NextGen Cares a global initiative," stated Frantz.
