ACME Celebrates Road Safety Awareness Week

- ACME has kick-started its nation-wide road safety awareness initiatives

- ACME touched the lives of over 5000 people through participation of 1000 employees

 

ACME Group, a leader in the field of energy management, is celebrating the National Road Safety Awareness Week being held from 11th to 17th January, 2016. In the span of 7 days, the staff of ACME got on roads and through this initiative ACME touched lives of 5000 people and increased awareness about road hazards. 

 

Taking the lead to spread awareness, ACME conducted Safety Riding Campaigns across 17 Telecom Circles, 12 Solar Power Plants, its Head Quarters at Gurgaon and its 11 Hectares Manufacturing Plant at Rudrapur to mark the National Road Safety Week 2016.

 

During the occasion, ACME distributed fliers and brochures to technicians on the site. Awareness was raised among people about road safety signs and awards were distributed by ACME among the technicians whose vehicles are in compliance to road safety.

 

Encouraged by the welcoming response from people, Mr. Samir Sharan, CEO, ACME, said, “ACME is a socially responsible corporate citizen and has made available the organisation’s resources to enhance awareness about ‘Road Safety’ issues in the country. With the efforts of our employees, we successfully managed to increase awareness about road safety in a unique manner.”

 

The road safety awareness campaign is another milestone in the company’s corporate social responsibility drive to educate people about the traffic rules. This campaign witnessed an overwhelming response from various stakeholders and various sections of the society benefitted from this initiative.
