Trickett is one of the most popular poker players in the world, and is currently ranking at the 7th position on the All Time Poker Money List. He is best known for his second place win to Antonio Esfandiari in the 2012 World Series of Poker (WSOP), where he won $10 million in the BIG ONE for ONE DROP tournament, which has a buy-in amount of a million dollars. Before becoming an internationally-recognized poker player, Sam Trickett did gas fittings for a living, and poker was just a hobby that he pursued on the side. He has faced a lot of hardships in life and is a self-made man.
