We also aim to further accelerate the strong interface that exists between India and U.S. start-up ecosystem. We would like to thank Prime Minister Modi for encouraging us in this national endeavour to fuel Indiaâs start-up economy and bring technology centre stage in driving the countryâs development and inclusion agenda."
With the âStart up India, Stand up Indiaâ, Prime Minister has put his emphasis squarely on entrepreneurship and job creation, announcing incentives for companies that generate employment and promote bank financing for startups by the underprivileged.
"The highlight of the day-long event will be an exhibition by innovative Indian startups â often working under the radar across areas as diverse as healthcare, agriculture, energy, technology and aerospace. âThese startups are representative of the changing India where apart from just creating solutions for the upper middle-class urban consumer of India, the innovators are leveraging technology and their experiences to create massive impact by solving some tougher problemsâ, said Kunal Upadhyay, CEO, CIIE.
