AHMEDABAD, India: With the unveiling of the prestigious GlamMe Awards trophy, PowerBrands Glam Inauguration Ceremony took place in Ahmedabad today. The finale of PowerBrands Glam - India's Most Powerful Brand Awards will be held in Las Vegas in the month of June 2013. The evening witnessed the esteemed presence of Prof. Arindam Chaudhuri, Editor-in-Chief, Planman Media and Honorary Director, IIPM Think Tank, Chief Guest Shri Saurabh Patel, Minister - Energy & Petrochemicals, Mines & Minerals, Cottage Industries, Salt Industries, Printing, Stationary, Planning, Tourism, Civil Aviation, Labour & Employment and Shri Vipul Mittra, Principal Secretary - Tourism, Government of Gujarat.
The mega event saw the unveiling of the much coveted and prestigious GlamMe Awards trophy - a salute to the indomitable spirit of Indian businessmen, which will honor the rise of Indian brands, Inspirational leaders and Entrepreneurs. The event also witnessed the title of the Brand Capital of New India bestowed upon the State of Gujarat, which was received by Shri Saurabh Patel, while the Cult Indian PowerBrand title was conferred upon Gujarat Tourism and was received by Shri Saurabh Patel and Shri Vipul Mittra.
Gujarat - known as the 'Brand Capital of India' - was an ideal destination to flag off the PowerBrands Glam 2013. The pro-active and walk-the-talk approach of the region truly represents the future of India and epitomizes development in its complete strength.
