BANGALORE: Sviluppo Lazio, the industry association of the Lazio region (around Rome, Italy), today announced the creation of a Centre of Excellence Showroom at the Khoday's Commerce Centre in Bangalore. The centre will promote commercial and industrial partnership between Indian industry and Lazio economic systems with a focus on aerospace & defence, audiovisual & production, electro medical, furniture, ceramics & interior design.
A delegation comprising of about 30 companies, led by Dr. Mario Marotta, the Director General of the Lazio Ministry of Production and Waste Disposal and Enrica Bagnolini, Manager for Internationalization of Sviluppo Lazio, are in India for a weeklong roadshow to engage with Indian companies.
"The Centre of Excellence at Khoday's Commerce Center is a superb opportunity for us to showcase the Lazio region and tap into the tremendous business potential for Italian and Indian companies to collaborate. The Lazio region is well-known globally for its cutting-edge technology, research and innovation, aesthetic excellence and high quality. Over the next 12 months, supported by our facilitator, Khoday's Commerce Center, we hope to interact with companies in India and share knowledge equally across borders," said Dr. Mario Marotta, Director General of the Lazio Ministry of Production and Waste Disposal.
Starting with Bangalore, the delegation will meet with various companies in order to explore potential business opportunities. The delegation will replicate this activity in New Delhi and Mumbai.
