Hot Spots Movement Increases Asian Team

LONDON: The London-based global human resources group Hot Spots Movement has extended its Asian team with the appointment of Mandeep Maitra as the continent's Head of Strategy & Development. Maitra will be based in Singapore.

Most recently, Maitra was Country Head - Human Resources and Corporate Services at India's leading Private Sector Bank, HDFC Bank Limited. There, she was considered the architect of the Human Resources function and was particularly active in managing HR and cultural change during the bank's mergers and acquisitions.

Professor Lynda Gratton, founder of the Hot Spots Movement, said: "Our work in Asia is really at the forefront of research into teams and how they create ignition in organisations. In Singapore in particular, we are working with Ministry of Manpower to study high-performing teams in organisations.

Maitra will focus on delivering content from the Hot Spots Movement, as well as coaching client groups and consolidating the Movement's research in Singapore, India and the rest of Asia.
