SHANGHAI: Approved by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), India Trade Promotion Organization (ITPO), the 2011 Asia International Dye Industry, Pigments and Textile Chemicals Exhibition ("Interdye Asia") will be held on December 8 - 10 at Gujarat University Convention & Exhibition Centre. The exhibition will be sponsored by China Dyestuff Industry Association (CDIA), China Dyeing and Printing Association (CDPA) and CCPIT Shanghai Sub-council, organized by Shanghai International Exhibition Service Co., Ltd. (SIESC) and coordinated by the Dyestuffs Manufacturers' Association of India (DMAI).

"Interdye Asia" is highly valued by Chinese and Indian governments and both embassies. Mr. Narendra Modi, Chief Minister of Gujarat State; Mr. Wang Zhuo, President of CDIA; Mr. Wang Lie, Vice-Chairman of CCPIT Shanghai and Vice-Chairman of Chamber of International Commerce Shanghai; Mr. Shri Saurabhbhai Patel, Minister of Industry, Energy, Finance, Govt. of Gujarat; Mr. K.Jose Cyriac, Secretary of Dept. of Chemicals & Petrochemicals, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Govt. of India will attend and address the opening ceremony for the exhibition on December 7.

"Interdye Asia" is the international extension of "China Interdye". "China Interdye" has been successfully held for 11 years and become the largest professional exhibition in the global dye-chemical industry. It is known as the world's most famous brand exhibition in this industry. In order to accelerate the transformation of China dyestuff industry's developing mode and implement the development strategy of the "going out", the organizers decided to hold the tour of Asia. "Interdye Asia" got great concern and active engagement from the international dyeing and pigment world. Until now, 120 famous companies from India, Singapore, U.K., China and Taiwan province occupied 5000sqm. in this exhibition including Huntsman, Atul, JAY, Bodal, Colourtex, Hindprakash, Lonsen, Runtu, Yabang, Jihua, JECO, Kedah, Shunlong, Jingjin, Qingshan, BOAO, Shenxin, Guangming, Dankong, Shanyu and ANOKY. Exhibits cover all kinds of ecological and environmental dye, organic pigments, printing and dyeing auxiliaries, relevant equipment and other products.

Through the thorough plan and active publicity, "Interdye Asia" attracted numerous dyeing and printing enterprises and dyeing distributors from India and neighboring countries to purchase and negotiate in the exhibition, including Pakistan Dye Chamber of Commerce which arranged a purchasing delegation of about 70 people.

"Interdye Asia" has gained the substantial support of the India Basic Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals & Cosmetics Export Promotion Council (CHEMEXCIL) and the Dyestuffs Manufactures' Association of India (DMAI). At the same time, the conference "Asia- At the Helm of Global Colorants Growth" will be held and measures for exhibitors to visit India dye, intermediate and dying companies will be arranged. India and China are both great countries of dyestuff production, trade and consumption. The successful hosting of this exhibition also sufficiently indicates the good cooperative relations between both sides of the dyestuff industry.
