RICHARDSON (Texas): Vertical Computer Systems, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: VCSY) (www.vcsy.com) has announce that it has acquired the SnAPPnet product line from Pelican Applications, LLC, a privately-held technology company.
SnAPPnet is a dynamic, Web-based application that makes it possible to pre-populate hundreds of frequently used forms and applications with just a few clicks of a mouse. SnAPPnet saves significant time and effort by creating a single, in-depth profile that covers all of a professional's data typically requested on license and board applications, as well as other related forms. To date, SnAPPnet has been primarily focused as a Web-based tool for physician credentialing.
"We are excited to add SnAPPnet to the Vertical product offering," stated Richard Wade, President and CEO of Vertical Computer Systems, Inc. "We believe SnAPPnet can be expanded for additional applications not only in the healthcare sector, but also in other industries."
