The year-end now calls for retrospect and review of what we did and what we could have done better. It's that time of the year, when one needs to prepare oneself for a whole new year, bring in new strategies,  update annual marketing plans to align with one's business goals and objectives. This is the best time to evaluate the previous year's results, make strategy adjustments and formulate new annual marketing plans or goals for the coming year.

It is also time to look back at what your business achieved in the year and assess the performance of your business. A solid annual marketing plan, which is very essential for any business can now be prepared for the year ahead. I strongly believe that without a concrete plan or strategy for the year ahead, it is always difficult to effectively measure desired results and also to manage budgets. If you didn't have a plan in 2010, make sure you do have one for 2011.

Considering the current business scenario, an annual marketing plan which can be constantly reviewed and adjusted based on market conditions, competitive analysis and overall performance, can be the best way to begin the new year.

As always, we at Tradeindia too would like to bring in changes so that we can help you better. Having said that, we would not be able to strive for excellence unless you as a user tell us where we should change or what you found best in our portal. Tell us if 'Tradeindia was successful in helping you find new clients?' or 'What according to you was the best feature in Tradeindia that helped you in business generation?'

I take this opportunity to wish all our users a very fruitful 2011. May the dawn of the New Year lead you to the path of prosperity and success.
