Transfer of portfolio will attact grain?
Gkumar Pandya | Wed Nov 16 07:10:18 2011
Mr. U.Kumar Varma was doing an excellent job in the MSME ministry. He was vociferous and more proactive towards the sector. He was instrumental in getting the Cabinet's approval for 20% Purchase preference for the MSME sector. Unfortunately, before it is getting enacted he got transferred. He was also making sincere attempts to get Interest subvention. It is really a loss to the MSME sector. The frequent transfers of the Secretaries and the Development Commissioners will certainly affect the performance of the Sector & loss of their zeal. It is a curse of this sector. MSME sector is getting only a step motherly treatment both in Central and States. It is worse in Tamil Nadu with 5 Commissioners in 5 months.!
