The India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2020 has been scheduled for December 8-11. The fourth edition of the tech event will be held virtually.

The theme for the this year IMC's will be "Inclusive Innovation - Smart, Secure, Sustainable".

This year Ericsson will be the principle partner of the IMC. The other prime partners include Dell Technologies, Ribbon Communications and Red Hat.

The event this year will witness coming together of some of the top industry stalwarts, regulators, policy makers, CEOs of telecom operators, global CEOs and experts in 5G broadcasting.

Speaking at the curtain raiser, Minister of State for Communications, Sanjay Dhotre, said: "We firmly believe that the India Mobile Congress 2020 will be a key showcase for technology driven initiatives as it brings together all stakeholders in the telecommunications ecosystem and provides the right forum for valuable discourse on key topics relevant to policymakers, regulators and the industry.

IMC is one such platform, where the efforts of the Indian government and the telecom industry are given an apt showcase to not just our nation, but to the world at large, he said.

S.P. Kochhar, Director General, COAI, said, "We are sure that all the stakeholders will look forward to this platform for launches and releases of new technologies.
