The United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Macedonia have agreed on initiating, at the earliest, negotiations on agreements on double taxation avoidance, the protection and promotion of investments.
The talks were held as UAE's minister for economy Sultan Bin Saeed Al Mansouri met Macedonian Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski during an official visit to the Western Balkans state.
Al Mansouri described the meeting as part of efforts to promote relations between the UAE and Macedonia.
Both the leaders also agreed to exchange visits by business delegations to showcase the economic potentials of the two countries.
