The United Arab Emirates (UAE) and China discussed bilateral economic cooperation at a meeting of the representatives of the two countries in Guantao (China).
UAE Minister of Foreign Trade Sheikha Lubna Al Qasimi on the sidelines of her visit to China, discussed commercial and investment ties between the two countries with Zhain Gun, the Chinese deputy foreign minister.
Both sides discussed ways to support the UAE and Chinese companies investing in each others markets and to strengthen business ties between the two countries.
Sheikha Lubna said during the meeting that the UAE was keen on strengthening its strategic partnership with China and developing commercial and investment cooperation.
She added that the UAE recently inaugurated a commercial office in the UAE's embassy in China to further support the strengthening of commercial and economic ties, promote bilateral investments and increase UAE exports to China.
